Hey There, I'm Katie!

But it has been photographing wedding and couples that I find the most fun and rewarding. I have found loving hearts, wild souls, and adventurous spirits to be my type of people. I strive to visually capture the “spirit” of my subjects and record an emotional memory of the occasion.

I graduated from University of California Davis with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Technology Management. In my free time I like to hike, travel, and watch New Girl and How I met your Mother. You will most likely find me stuffing my face with either Indian or Thai food, but of course I also love some good mexican food!

I recently decided I wanted to live in a warm and beachy town so I moved to the beautiful San Diego area with my pup Zoey! I have always loved the beach and it is one of my absolute favorite locations to shoot at!

I was raised in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. I was drawn to photography in middle school and would enter photos of our family pets or family backpacking trips in our local county fair. My passion for photography grew while working as a hiking guide in Yosemite National Park. I mean… who wouldn’t want a stunning photo of Half Dome? El Capitan? Yosemite Falls?
